Hamas Terrorists Hunting for "Collaborators"

According to The Times of Israel:

"Palestinian terror group Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, is reportedly on the hunt for suspects it believes may have aided the Israeli special forces in a raid nearly two weeks ago, and is specifically looking for a small van spotted in surveillance footage, according to a Saturday report in the Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar." -more

Airbnb joins the boycott Israel movement.

According to Reuters:JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli cabinet minister called on Wednesday for a boycott of Airbnb and promoted one of its rivals, escalating the government’s response to the home-rental company’s decision to delist Israel’s settlements in the occupied West Bank.

“I call today on all those who support Israel and oppose discriminatory boycotts: they should cease using Airbnb and turn to other services,” Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan told a diplomatic conference hosted by the Jerusalem Post newspaper.

“By the way, Booking.com is a great service,” added Erdan, the point-man in Israeli government efforts to combat pro-Palestinian boycotts.

Airbnb said on Monday it would remove some 200 settlement listings after hearing criticism from people who “believe companies should not profit on lands where people have been displaced”. -more

Anwar Sadat

Anwar Sadat's visit to Jerusalem and his speech to the Israeli Knesset was a turning point in the history of the Jewish State. We watched it on TV in disbelief. I drew today's caricature of Sadat back then when Dry Bones cartoons were only in black/white so I just had the somewhat emotional task of coloring it in. Enjoy.

Macy's Parade Balloons come to Jerusalem

According to Ynet:

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is traveling from the streets of Manhattan to Jerusalem; ‘Together—walking with world Jewry’ will be a show of unity between Jews in Israel and Jews in the Diaspora.

Millions gather on the streets of Manhattan every November in the cold weather to see Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and millions more watch it on TV. On December 3, the first night of Hanukkah, the parade is coming to Jerusalem for the first time as show of unity between Israel's Jews and Jews in the Diaspora.

The parade in Jerusalem is an initiative of the Diaspora Affairs Ministry and is meant to bring Jews in Israel and abroad together in the wake of recent grave anti-Semitic incidents around the world, culminating in the recent Pittsburgh Synagogue massacre that claimed the lives of 11 people. -MORE

Kristallnacht (night of the shattered glass): November 9-10 1938. Just 80 years ago at the time of this writing, on that night in Germany, thousands upon thousands of Jews were attacked by the German Nazis. More than 1,000 synagogues and more than 7,500 Jewish businesses were smashed and destroyed. Approximately 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and taken to concentration death camps.
