Yes, there's a Plan. It's a plan for a hospital, an airport and a brand new Jewish city (to be called Shamir) in the heartland of the Land of Israel. Do we adopt it? No? Why not? Because it will be condemned by our friends and foes alike. My first instinct was to draw a "do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do" cartoon. A cartoon that condemns the double-standard that Israel is judged by.But satisfying as that would have been, I felt the need to focus on the folks that we are defying. In the last few days Biden and Putin have each shown us and the rest of the world what they are capable of doing .

According to Mike Evans, writing in the Jerusalem Post: America has finally decided the Bible is not illegal
This is a major blow to the BDS movement, which calls to “boycott, divest and sanction” the State of Israel, in addition to a snub to the European Court of Justice.Today, the U.S. State Department has just announced that it will no longer use the term “settlements” to describe Judea and Samaria, a term employed by the UN. In my view, this decision means that the United States has decided that the Bible, in terms of Israel, is not illegal. Why is this a big deal? This is a major blow to the BDS movement, which calls to “boycott, divest and sanction” the State of Israel, in addition to a snub to the recent European Court of Justice’s call to label products from Jewish businesses in Judea and Samaria. The European Court of Justice ruled that: “Foodstuffs originating in the territories occupied by the state of Israel must bear the indication of their territory of origin.”Regrettably, Jew-haters are able to use the land to mobilize support in their favor, resulting in the United Nations referring to this as “occupied territory” and demanding that Israel relinquish it to hostile forces.Though, for Evangelical Christians and Israel supporters, for thousands of years, Judea and Samaria (West Bank) has been the “Bible land.” It was never illegal. The promises read by Christians and Jews were that God gave it to Israel and called it an “eternal covenant.”Most Christians and Jews in America grow up reading the Bible that recounted the history of Judea and Samaria. They read of Hebron (Kiriath Arba) where Abraham purchased land with which to bury his wife Sarah in the Cave of Machpelah. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as well as the Rebekah and Leah were also buried there. It was King David’s first capital where he was also anointed as king. -more

If Hamas and the PLO (the twin oppressors of the Palestinian Arabs) reject the "Deal of the Century", then maybe Trump should consider a "Plan B"! According to David Singer in J-Wire :Trump should champion legal migration from West Bank and GazaPresident Trump should consider championing legal, voluntary and financially-assisted emigration from Gaza and the West Bank by calling on Jordan and Egypt to open their border crossings and grant residency status to Gazan and West Bank Arabs seeking a better future for themselves and their families.Such action is certainly justified following the rejection of President Trump’s offer to inject US$6.5 billion into the West Bank and Gaza – with both Hamas and the PLO telling Trump they were not prepared to accept any financial assistance coming out of the Manama Conference jointly convened last week by Trump and Bahrain.-moreIf you had a plan to fight antisemitism and stop the BDS rewriting of Jewish history, how's it going for you? Jordan-Israel negotiations on Trump peace plan set to bypass PLO
By David Singer
Jordan-Israel negotiations based on President Trump’s long-awaited peace plan seem increasingly likely to happen - following retired Jordanian Ambassador and former editor of the Jordan Times – Walid Sadi – flagging Jordan’s legal and sovereignty claims in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and East Jerusalem (“disputed territories”).Sadi - in an op-ed article in the Jordan Times on 12 August - has forcefully argued that Jordan’s decision to cut off all legal and administrative relations with the disputed territories in July 1988 did not amount to Jordan ceding its claims to sovereignty for the following reasons:“First of all, the unity of the West Bank with the East Bank was officially and constitutionally adopted on 24 of April 1950. No one disputes this fact. The Constitution of the country at the time was the 1952 Constitution, which stipulated in no uncertain terms that no part of the Kingdom shall be ceded, period. This provision makes the 1988 decision to cut off all legal and administrative relations between the two banks stopping short of ceding the West Bank to any side whatsoever. Any other interpretation of the 1988 political decision is absolutely untenable constitutionally.”The Jordan Times is published by the Jordan Press Foundation – in which the government-owned Social Security Investment Fund has a majority stake. Wadi’s politically-charged and highly-significant article could only have been published with the knowledge and approval of Jordan’s King Abdullah.-more

On Monday evening, opposition leader Isaac Herzog warned it sets the stage for nothing less than “national suicide,” while Jewish Home head Naftali Bennett championed it as paving the path to expanding Israeli sovereignty into the West Bank.
“If ratified, it would constitute a breach of international law and, according to Israel’s Attorney General, it would also be unconstitutional,” Nickolay Mladenov, the United Nations’ special envoy to the peace process, told the Security Council last month.-more
