Standing Up to Pressure

Dry Bones cartoon, Kirschen, Israel, Golan Heights, Syrian, Islamic State, Land for Peace, Assad,
We've got to be smart. We must stand up to the pressure that is constantly exerted on us. And we need to educate the next generation to be smart and we need to empower them so they can to stand up to the challenges ahead.
That's why we need you to support the Online Dry Bones Academy of Cartoon Advocacy and Activism: www.igg.me/at/drybones

Syrian Catastrophe - Newspaper Columnist

Syria, Assad, Israel, Land For Peace, Double Standard, Political Correctness, middle east policy, mideast experts, Middle East, War, Palestinians, Settlements, : Dry Bones cartoon.Today's news features the slaughter of thousands in the Syrian revolution, which led me to think about the main stream media experts and columnists who, in the guise of helping Israel in spite of itself, so misrepresented and continue to misrepresent the truth about the Middle East.

It's Simple

What Land for Peace Means - Jews and Arabs : Dry Bones cartoon.
I figure that it's about time that we took a fresh look at some of the "accepted wisdom" about the Middle East, Islamism, and the Delegitimization problem. So I started with "Land for Peace" and the offensive, politically incorrect generalization that it is based on. It is the never publicly-admitted truth that it's the Jewish State that wants Peace, and the Arab States that want something else. That what they really want is land.

Shocking that the politically correct supporters of "Land for Peace" don't understand its implications.

Land For Peace (2000)

(2000) Dry Bones cartoon: Sukkot.
Today's Golden Oldie is a Dry Bones cartoon done 10 years ago in the first month of the 21st century.

I picked this cartoon because, having just finished the first decade of this century, I wanted to see where we were at the start of it!

Yup, there's been no change in the Syrian position. and yes, there's also been absolutely no change in the double standard that the nations use to judge the Jewish State.

Land For Peace (1994)

land for peace(1994) Dry Bones cartoon - .
Today's Golden Oldie is from June 1994.

I'm tired of commenting on the current pressure on Israel to appease further "Palestinian" demands and decided to change the topic. So to find something different for today's Golden Oldie, I went way back to fifteen years ago this month ...

Land for Peace (1991)

Click on this "full page" cartoon to open a larger, more readable version.
1991 Dry Bones cartoon -Land For Peace

I'd love to start posting some of the classic Dry Bones "pages"... but showing them the same size as a "normal" Dry Bones cartoon forces me to scrunch them down to where they're hard to read. So please click on the above cartoon, which was a full page in the Jerusalem Report in 1991, to open a larger version.

Then tell me if it's worth the effort (mine, not yours).
Let me know if the smaller version was "good enough", etc.

What's your opinion?

Land for Peace (1991)

1991 Dry Bones cartoon - Land for Peace
Fifteen years ago this month. May 1991. Notice that Mr. Shuldig is wearing what used to be the standard dress code for Israeli gents. A jacket, shirt with open collar and no tie. These days our politicians, newscasters, and businessmen wear Italian suits and silk ties.

Of course some things never change.
Like the obscene idea that "Peace" is something that Israelis need to "buy". Peace, real peace, is like love. A mutual blessing for both parties.

Land for Peace is like Money for Love.
Sure you can pay for it...
But what you get is short-term, empty, and just not the real thing.
