The Trump MOU new Iran Deal

Here is a Dry Bones Cartoon from 2016.

You need to substitute the word Obama with Trump. And this time it is 300 billion instead of 400 million.

I really don't understand the reasoning. An Iran Deal with Iran getting billions of dollars. But, at least, not from the American taxpayers and not with Obama, but Trump. It seems like the classic saying that we won the battles, but lost the war. At least Israel is safe for another few years from being nuked by Iran. And we will probably not have to dodge Iranian missiles for a few months. But again, I really do not understand. Maybe something happened with China, maybe it is domestic American politics, maybe Trump has a plan that we don't know about. Surely God has a plan that we don't know about. I am hoping that it will all be for the best. much love to all, Sali, the LSW

Hoping that the Ceasefire Holds

Dry Bones Blog Golden Oldies, now coming to you by Sali, the LSW (Long Suffering Wife)

It looks like a major threat here in Israel, of a nuke from Iran, was neutralized now that there is now a ceasefire. I wish that Yaakov were here to give his wisdom. Here is an older cartoon that I found. Hoping that the peace will last, but still we have the Gaza problem.

I almost had a night of sleep, but the sirens came again early this morning, and we had 4 rounds of sirens here in central Israel. Very unfortunately, one of the 400 kilo missiles made a direct hit on a large apartment building in Beersheba and killed 4 innocent people. They were in their shelter room according to the Homefront rules, but the missile made a direct hit exactly on the shelter. It is pretty frightening to see what damage a 400 kilo missile can do.

I am so hoping that this peace will hold and that we can now do something about Hamas in Gaza. Israel is distributing food packages, but Hamas is shooting at their own people to try to keep them away from the distribution center.

We are all praying for the 20 or so remaining live hostages to be released, and the 30 or so bodies too.

Love, Sali, the LSW (Long Suffering Wife)

By The Way,

I also came across this ad for a Dry Bones, Trump, Peace mug from a few years ago. I had actually forgotten about it. So, I thought you might be interested in checking it out. They are still available from Cafe Press in the USA.

Start your day with a taste of sweet optimism with your Dry Bones Trump Peace Mug (available in 3 different colors).

The idea that sipping our favorite beverage in our own mugs every morning would bring us together with you, (and other Israel-lovers around the world) was a real turn-on. We came up with three colors but couldn't decide which we liked the best, so we're doing all three. They cost $15.39 each. They are 11 oz. ceramic mugs with comfortable easy-grip handles. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. Click on the links below for more info, to take a peek at both sides of each mug, and perhaps to buy one. ($15.39 will get you one of these Dry Bones Trump Peace mugs)
