I was not going to post a cartoon today, but I came across this cartoon. I have been very upset at the JD Vance interview with Joe Rogan. Yaakov and I were fans of both, but things seem to have changed with them. They both bought into the lies. I am so disappointed.

Poland blames the Jews

"Israeli politicians have lashed out at Poland's prime minister over comments he made comparing "Polish perpetrators" of the Holocaust to supposed "Jewish perpetrators." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the comments by his Polish counterpart, Mateusz Morawiecki, were "outrageous." It's the latest spat between Poland and Israel over interpretations of history after Warsaw's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party last month passed a law against public statements that falsely and intentionally attribute Nazi crimes to Poland under the German occupation during World War II."-more

Former Polish PM: ‘Of Course Poles Took Part in Holocaust’

A former prime minister entered Poland’s fraught debate over a new law that prohibits discussion of Polish collusion with the Nazi Holocaust, bluntly telling a leading newspaper that “of course” there were cases of Poles collaborating in the extermination of the Jews. “Of course Poles took part,” former Polish premier Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz told the newspaper Rzeczpospolita on Wednesday. Emphasizing that “today’s generation is not responsible for what happened,” Cimoszewicz — a social democrat politician who was Poland’s prime minister during the mid-1990s and also served as the country’s foreign minister — urged Poles to talk “openly and honestly” about the experience of Nazi occupation. Among the historical examples he cited were the “tens of thousands” of “szmalcowniks” — Poles who informed on Jews or extorted their property. At least 60,000 Jews had been denounced by Poles to the Nazi Gestapo, Cimoszewicz said.

Ninety percent of Poland’s pre-war Jewish population of 3 million was murdered following the Nazi German invasion of September 1939. The former prime minister also noted that more than 6,000 Poles had been honored as “Righteous Among the Nations” by Israel’s Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem. “We are all obliged to remember these heroic people, but we must not allow their heroism to cover the crimes and wickedness of a much larger group of Poles,” he continued. “Antisemitism was and remains endemic in our country,” Cimoszewicz said. Cimoszewicz accused Poland’s nationalist government of deliberately exaggerating the damage to Poland’s reputation through the use of phrases like “Polish death camp” to describe Auschwitz, the slave labor and execution factory constructed and operated by the Nazi German occupiers near the town of Oświęcim in the south. “Now (Polish PM Jarosław) Kaczyński has caused that phrase to reach thousands of recipients,” Cimoszewicz argued. The decision of Poland’s president, Andrzej Duda, to sign the IPN Act, as the Holocaust legislation is known, into law earlier this week proved to “everyone in the world, not only Israel” that the new law “is not a random manifestation of parliamentary madness,” he said.

Cimoszewicz — who in 1997 became the first Polish prime minister to visit Israel — said that Poland’s relations with the Jewish state had been “seriously damaged.” “I am afraid that, to some extent, it is irreversible,” he added. The former premier also predicted that the new law would adversely affect relations with the US, specifically citing the potential impact on Congress of the American Jewish Committee’s (AJC) strong opposition to the IPN Act. Describing AJC, which maintains an office in Warsaw, as having been “a very constructive partner of Poland for decades,” Cimoszewicz said that the damage done to relationships such as these would be “felt into the future.” The response to Cimoszewicz’s interview on the Polish right was predictably harsh. One popular columnist and broadcaster, Rafal Ziemkiewicz, denounced the former prime minister and his family as “congenital traitors.”

A really close friend from America was visiting us and saw this cartoon. He's politically savvy, sharp, and intelligent, but his reaction to the cartoon shocked me. He was unaware of the antisemitism of the left. He'd never heard of the violent antifa movement, and he was ignorant of the antisemitism of the Black Lives Matter organization. Most of his information comes from Main Stream Media and he's been guided by the politically correct stance of American Jewish groups.

Turkish Displeasure

Erdogan says Turks in Europe should defy 'grandchildren of Nazism'

President Tayyip Erdogan on Monday called on Turkish voters in Europe to defy the "grandchildren of Nazism" and back a referendum this month on changing the constitution, comments likely to cause further ire in Europe.

Erdogan has repeatedly lashed out at European countries, including Germany and the Netherlands, in campaigning for the referendum, accusing them of "Nazi-like" tactics for banning his ministers from speaking to rallies of Turkish voters abroad.

Both the Germans and Dutch have been incensed by the comparisons to Nazism and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said the references must stop. "With this determination, we will never allow three or four European fascists ... from harming this country's honor and pride," Erdogan told a packed crowd of flag-waving supporters in the Black Sea city of Rize, where his family comes from. "I call on my brothers and sisters voting in Europe...give the appropriate answer to those imposing this fascist oppression and the grandchildren of Nazism." -more

BDS Nazism

The BDS movement was born in Hitler's Germany in 1933. On the day Hitler came to power in 1933 he ordered a nationwide campaign of boycotting Jewish businesses, shops, and enterprises while the world stood by. It was the first step towards the "Final Solution";the Nazi plan to exterminate the Jewish people, .
. Today, the BDS movement to strangle the Jewish State has already spawned violent campus storm trooper-like groups that carry out physical attacks on Jews.

According to The Coordination Forum For Countering Antisemitism:

The so-called "BDS" movement is nothing less than a poorly-disguised campaign of bigotry and aggression against Jews by antisemites and jihadists.

While its roots go back far earlier, ever since the 1930s the first manifestation of Nazi-like antisemitism has been to organize economic boycotts against Jews. On the day Hitler came to power in 1933 he ordered a nationwide campaign of BDS or "boycotts, divestment and sanctions" against Germany's Jews. It was of course only the opening round in economic warfare and aggression directed against Jews. The Germans claimed that they were actually the victims of the Jews, who were occupying German territory. Sound familiar?

The Arab countries quickly took note of the lessons from Germany. As soon as Israel's existence and independence were proclaimed, the Islamofascist world announced a total BDS campaign, including a trade embargo, against Israel. This boycott was generally also implemented against non-Israeli Jews, removing any doubt as to the real agenda of the boycotters. That boycott is still by and large in effect, although here and there one can see cracks in it. Syrian Arabs injured by the Assad junta feel no hesitation to flee to the Israeli border and ask for medical assistance, which they get for free, and Arabs from the Gulf states quietly fly to Israel to get medical treatments.

The latest manifestation of Boycott-the-Jews antisemitism is in the campus "BDS" movement. Like the previous boycotts, the newer "BDS" is nothing more than a here. The resemblance to Judith Butler and her recent appearance at the Brooklyn College Hatefest is, in the immortal words of Yoggi Berra, too coincidental to be a coincidence.-more

Holocaust Remembrance Day

There are two annual days of Holocaust remembrance.

1. International Holocaust Remembrance Day, is an international memorial day on 27 January commemorating the victims of the Holocaust, the genocidal murder of an estimated 6 million Jews, 2 million Roma, 250,000 mentally and physically disabled people, and 9,000 homosexual men by the Nazi regime and its collaborators. The date was chosen to mark the liberation, on January 27 1945, of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp.

2. The Jewish holiday of Yom HaShoah ( Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day) is a national day of commemoration in Israel, on which the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and the Jewish resistance to the Nazis are memorialized. Yom HaShoah 2016 begins in the evening of Wednesday, May 4 and ends in the evening of Thursday, May 5.The original proposal was to hold Yom HaShoah on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Nisan, the date of the Warsaw ghetto uprising (April 19, 1943), but this was problematic because the 14th of Nisan is the day immediately before Passover. The date was therefore moved to the 27th of Nisan, which is eight days before Yom Ha'atzma'ut,(Israeli Independence Day)
