Kadima
This is one of those times that I felt like staring into the camera and just saying the simple truth ... so I did this close-up of a wide-eyed Mr. Shuldig. I broke my rule about having a smile in the last panel. Here M. Shuldig is disturbed, rather than amused, as he reaches a conclusion about this "new" American-style Israeli political party.

Iran's Missiles
Ahmadinejad is not just relying on missile technology to scare the world.
He's also using Photoshop! Here is the Iranian photo of the dramatic launch of Iranian missiles that graced the front pages of newspapers around the world:
Iran's Photoshopped Missile LaunchSo what conclusions do you come to?

The Soviet Union and the Haggadah (1992)
Today's Golden Oldie was published on April 17, 1992, exactly 16 years ago today. We had seen another repressive empire go down. We Jews have survived and maintained our unique civilization and identity through thousands of years of history ...much of it dominated by anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist ideologies, empires, and mass movements. We have watched these great and powerful empires rise, each in turn bringing its own, twisted rewriting of the past. To survive, however, we must remember. And so each year at Pessah, we sit together, in families, in Seders, around the world, linked with generations stretching back through time, and together we read the Haggadah, a manual of instruction on how to remember who and what we are.Happy Pessah to us all!

Pasteur in Politics. . .
An antiSemitic, antiFemale, antidemocratic, fascist movement is now challenging Western civilization around the world. Any intelligent defense of democracy would require that we investigate, analyze, and try to understand the appeal of this poisonous movement.Captured terrorists provide us with an opportunity to study the phenomenon up close... But apparently neither Israel, America, Europe, or India have yet come to recognize that fact. The holding pens of America's Gitmo facility and Israeli prisons should be laboratories for the study of these zombified "True Believers". They have not. Instead they have become organizational centers for IslamoFascists. Will the West come to understand (before it's too late) that we can't win an ideological war without confronting the enemy ideology? So what do you think? Nu?
