"Social Justice"

Here in Israel we've got a local chapter of the anarchist, anti-capitalist, "öccupy" movement, complete with violent demonstrations, police baiting, and "Social Justice" posters.

According to the Jewish Telegraph Agency:

Social protests turn violent in Tel Aviv
June 24, 2012
TEL AVIV (JTA) --"Social protests in Tel Aviv turned violent as demonstrators shattered windows and attempted to break into banks.
Some 85 people were arrested in Saturday night's demonstrations; 37 of the arrested protesters will be indicted, Haaretz reported.
Saturday night's violent protests come some 24 hours after protests in Tel Aviv in which 12 activists were arrested, including Daphni Leef, a high-profile activist leader.
Protesters in the Friday night protests accused police of excessive violence." -more

When I was a kid the future was a wonderful place. Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, streamlined personal rocket ships, gleaming cities.

So now I'm living in the actual future!!

I love to do Time Traveler cartoons. I think of myself as the guy who got sent into the future and has come back to 1958 with his report. (and it's always a shock to the scientists who are running the operation back in the fifties).
