The Jewish State

The root cause of the mess in the Middle East is really quite simple. In 1947 The United Nations (General Assembly Resolution 181) called for the area of Palestine between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea to be partitioned into two states, one Jewish and one Arab. Simple. The Arab leadership rejected the plan and launched a genocidal war against the new-born Jewish State. The Arab leadership continues to this day to oppose the two-state (one Jewish and one Arab) solution. The Arab rejection of the Jewish State is the ongoing cause of the conflict.

So what's new? This is what happens when Jews try to act as all other people.We are a unique people, and limits have been set as to our behavior. The truth is that regardless of how humane and fair we may be, most of the world will reject us.We should fool the world and continue to do the right thing, but we must also do what we must for survival as a Jewish Democratic State, and I for one among many will take an oath to do so.

OH-excuse me . . . . It's forbidden for Jews to live in the eastern 78% of palistine. They had to be forcibly extracted from there to make room for those Muslims from southern Saudia Arabia who couldn't get along with other Muslims from southern Saudi arabia , , , ,

That was how Arabia became Saudi Arabia, when the ibn Sauds chased out the Hashemites. I like to call it The Wahhabist Entity. When Muslims learn that Israel is not pronounced "Zionist Entity" I will call The Wahhabist Entity whatever they want me to call it, but not unitl then.
The deeper reason for the "Clash of Civilizations", and Jihad in general, is the trillions of dollars of oil money the West dumped on the Muslim oil states.
Un-industrialized, mostly unsophisticated societies, began to have world power, and the cash to buy nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles.
Muslims took it as a sign from God that they're supposed to wage jihad again. At least it helped give them the confidence to issue the 3 "Nos" of Khartoum.

Re Jewish Forward headline: We are our own worst enemy . . . or as Pogo opined, "We have met the enemy and it are us."
The Forward is a liberal rag that is an embarrassment to those who actually believe in journalism and understand the realities of the Middle East. It keeps its readers on the upper west side of Manhattan happy in their self-righteous stupidity.
There is already a two state solution in place. The terrorist state of Gaza, and the democratic and free state of Israel.

First off, your first paragraph under todays cartoon is one of the most succinct explanations of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict I have ever seen.
2nd, Thank you for underlining the real meaning of this 'oath of allegiance' to Israel. Initially I was flabberghasted that this was happening, but now I think I understand it better.
But still. It seems like Israel is divorced from reality. It takes actions and assumes the world understands its real reasons. Then, when the bias and misunderstanding start, Israel just pulls its turtle's head in.
If Israel had better public relations and media relations, and someone actually made sense from Israel like you do, in mainstream media, I think things would be different.
But instead, all I see is Thomas Friedman spouting bull crap about Israel's situation, and never ONCE, underlining what you did in that first paragraph.

It seems to me that the Arabs want it THEIR WAY period ! It galls them that a few million Jews have the audacity to live in their midst and survive.

I hope you enjoyed your stay in the states.
I have few questions, is "MR. History" a jew? I mean he got a really long and big nose.
What does he do with his other hand, we can't see?
Does he counting money?
Does the rejection of the arabs 60 years, give Israel the right to suppress the Palestinians and open the World biggest Open-Air-Prison??
I think yes, Israel is the only legit democracy down there and the other barbarian nomad tribes or whatever it lives down there, dont know anyhting about our norms and values.
Israel is our last frontier in the war against Islam.
I watched a movie last night where arabs still take a dump in the middle of the desert, they just lift their skirt and go for it.
My suggestion is that everyone who takes a dump on free air should be classed as subhuman and should also be treated as one.
I also suggest that they should wear some markings so we can distinguish them.. a yellow halfmoon maybe?
