The Sacrifice Part Two
I decided to do a follow-up to Friday's Obama and the sacrifice of Isaac cartoon. As reported by Ben Smith at Politico:
New York Senator Chuck Schumer harshly criticized the Obama Administration's attempts to exert pressure on Israel today, making him the highest-ranking Democrat to object to Obama's policies in such blunt terms. "Schumer dramatically sharpened his tone on the politically conservative Jewish Nachum Segal Show today, calling the White House stance to date "counter-productive" and describing his own threat to "blast" the Administration had the State Department not backed down from its "terrible" tough talk toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.Schumer, a hawkish ally of Israel since his days as a Brooklyn Congressman, described "a battle going on inside the administration" over Middle East policy."This has to stop," he said of the administration's policy of publicly pressuring Israel to end construction in Jerusalem."I told the President, I told Rahm Emanuel and others in the administration that I thought the policy they took to try to bring about negotiations is counter-productive, because when you give the Palestinians hope that the United States will do its negotiating for them, they are not going to sit down and talk," Schumer toldSegal. "Palestinians don’t really believe in a state of Israel. They, unlike a majority of Israelis, who have come to the conclusion that they can live with a two-state solution to be determined by the parties, the majority of Palestinians are still very reluctant, and they need to be pushed to get there.-more"

O says one thing to Jewish groups and another to the media. You, (WE) must keep the pressure on him. I don't think that it will do any good, that he will continue to set the stage to destroy Israel. We must be strong and well armed to prevent this happening. I and my 22year old son are on our way to help Israel.
Why is Isaac always depicted as a small boy? He was an adult in his 30s?? and country Israel is getting on in years too.

David, I hope you're right, but Obama has proven over and over again that, as the native Americans used to say in the old western movies, "The Man in the WHite House speak with forked tongue"

The problem as I see it is that only a few people want the lot. Half a chicken is more tasty than no chicken.

At some point, please give us a cartoon with Barry-O and a shocked look on his face (dropping the knife and staggering back) and the "Sacrifice" walking away with a sly grin and holding up the lifeless head of Mohammed (separated from the body of Mohammed). I envision it as a take on the David and Goliath theme.

Because the folks in Aza and Occupied Israel make promises to Israel and the World (Oslo) and different promises to their constituents and keep only the latter - to wipe Israel off the map (and all the Jews with it).

I am more loyal to Israel than my own country as I think a Jew should be. But beware as American conservatives who hate Obama more than they love Jews or Israel (unless you include converting Jews) want to exaggerate Obama's positions and monger hate. It does not matter what Mr. Obama wants. Forget Palestine and occupy and settle it. Avraham did not kill Yitskhaq and America and Obama will not. God is our Guarantor, not Obama, America or Christians.
You could have the ram stuck in the bush with "National Day of Prayer" on it?
I would like to see the scriptural outcome for the USA. A big lightening bolt coming from God and smitting Obama would be very appropriate!
How about adding some Arabs and European leftists giving comment from the sidelines.
Bill_B -- Um, the quote is "White man speaks with forked tongue." In Obama's case it isn't going to work. Darn it.
reshef (rsh"f)-- indicated he is more loyal to Israel than to the country he has lived in all his life. He needs to immigrate. If one cannot be loyal to the country he has enjoyed, prospered in and presumably raised children in, he has more problems than should be placed on the shoulders of the citizens who are proud of their country.
Odd thing about BO: He wants Israel to stop immigrating. He wants Mexico to keep immigrating. Somewhere I think there might be a cartoon in there.

An extremely insightful and poignant thought from Senator Chuck Schumer. He is 100% correct, of course. He goes on to say that most palestinians don't believe in a state of Israel.
Also extremely correct. Indeed, you know they are correct, because those are two points NO MEDIA WILL BOTHER REPORTING to bigoted Americans.
Instead, all they report is how it is always Israel's fault for failed negotiations. It takes two to tango, nu?
Straight out YES to your doing an ongoing series on "the messiah's" sacrificing of Israel ... it's unbelievable to watch, and I'm already 70! It's certainly not funny, but your "humor" is priceless and provides a sardonic grin ... my hubby and I never figured we'd see anything quite like this in our lifetime! Even putting BN and bHo in the same room is incredible ... how he deals with the kindergartener "king" of ours is beyond me!
