Bones - I woke up this morning, got this Dry Bones in my E-mail and clicked your link to the SECRET site and - sorry for the wait, I had to stop typing to go puke in the toilet. I am a disabled ISRAELI soldier. I would not be disabled if I had imediatly fired back at the 2 palistinians firing at me, OVER the border fence. They were firing from BEHIND a small group of what appeared to be 5, 6, 7, maybe even 8 year old kids,,,, their kids,,,, HUMAN SHIELDS OF THE WORST TYPE. I am a JEW,,,, there fore, it is SO DIFICULT to even imagine that some one can use their children as SHIELDs to protect themselves from return fire. They know that Jews will DEFINATELY hesitate when children are seen in the line of fire. In the mean time they fire rockets at our civilian areas, from their civilian areas. They leave us no choice but to fire back and I didn't and DAMN near died. Sorry bones but those carttoons won't leave my mind and I have to go and puke again,,,, I think they may have caused diarea too, , , , ,
He drew antisemitic images where ? Are you saying that an Israeli political faction equates to the Jews ?
These secret code cartoons are frightening, disgusting, widespread but not surprising. The dilemma,in my mind is: Do we, the Jews, set up websites to draw offensive cartoons about Muslims, Arabs, the so called Palis, and other "oppositions members", or do we just accept that, in this case, the sword is mightier than the pen??
We should not be surprised at any of this. It has all been with us since the beginning of our recorded history. This is nothing new.
Michael, I just want to say Kol hakavod to you for being a caring human being and I'm so sorry that your honoring life led to your disability. Shabbat Shalom! Dafna Yee
I did not find a link to the particular cartoon in question. I am assuming it is the one of Netanyahu building a brick wall using Palestinian Arabs and their blood as mortar, that appeared a couple of days ago. "Criticizing an Israeli political faction" by riffing off the blood libel is Antisemitic.Israel's enemies have no hesitation in proclaiming that their aim is Israel's destruction and the genocide of its Jewish inhabitants. Some of them dissimulate in order to pull the wool over the eyes of patsy non-Muslims, but many, like Hamas and Hezbollah, do not hide their genocidal intentions. "Anti-Zionism" is a tattered fig leaf for these goals. Since "Anti-Zionism" is supportive of this intended renewed genocide of the Jews, it is Antisemitic.
Just to let you know that I left links to your collection under my reviews @ amazon.com of Joel Kotek's "Cartoons and Extremism" and Arieh Stav's "Peace:The Arab Caricature. After you've completed your Haggadah if you want to use KickStart to fund either your Chinese translation project or a book based on these cartoons, count me in.
Those images are horrifying. How can our world love and promote lies like those cartoons contain? How can there be a contest about which person from which country can make the most horrible picture about the Jewish people possible? G*d's command not to bear false witness is intentionally violated for fame and profit. I am sickened to see them... and yet I am so glad you are exposing them. I will always love Israel and stand beside the Jewish people. I pray for your peace and safety. I pray the nations would experience G*d's heart towards you.

I started Dry Bones in Jan 1973. Since then I've been known as "Bones" to friends and colleagues. This is the first time I've ever shared the "stories behind the cartoons." Enjoy.
