Today's Golden Oldie is a Dry Bones cartoon done in 1980. It was the cartoon I did to mark the beginning of the organized stone-throwing Arab rioting that would later morph into what would be called "the Intifada".
* * * The latest news is that Ahmadinejad, during his upcoming visit to Lebanon, plans to visit the Lebanese border
to throw stones at Israeli soldiers. It's an easy target for a joke but the reality is that the border with Israel is controlled by Iran's puppet militia; Hizbullah. In effect the Iranian President's visit to Lebanon's south is a visit to one of Iran's borders with Israel. His other border is, of course, Hamas' Islamist territory of Gaza.
