Vengance!

an eye for an eye? : Dry Bones cartoon.
I did not make up this cartoon.

According to a Deutsche Presse-Agentur report about Israeli government actions:

"A special ministerial committee appointed a team to examine whether it would be possible, in accordance with international law, to limit the amount of money transferred to prisoners for their personal use, their ability to watch television and listen to the radio, acquire an education and isolate them so they cannot enjoy physical contact with prisoners.

The committee is expected to complete its study within two weeks, Israeli media reports said Thursday." -more

Yes, and if Israel is VERY lucky, Gilad Shalit will actually be sent back ALIVE for the 500 hostages!
How about that! www.Olivetree.org

Bring Gilad Shalit back alive &
healthy, or their 500 terrorists
being held should not be left alive
do not make the mistake of believ-
ing those kind of people who say
one thing and do another...that is
their way...do not trust them...
Warning! they never tell the truth,
so make darn sure that we have
Gilad Shalit first alive, or no
deal okay.

Wow, cut off their tv? How dare the Israelis do such things. This is an atrocity of huge demensions and should be denounced by all the nation members of the U.N.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if all the Kadima voters in Tel Aviv rose up as one and blasted the present non-government in Jerusalem.

Why punish Hamas' prisoners? Are they the ones holding Shalit? Do Gilad's captors care if their brethren in jail don't have TV?

These prisoners are a different issue entirely. Since they have nothing to do with the Shalit issue, to bring them into it is both immoral and stupid.

The only way to get him released is either:

1) To rescue him

2) To go after his captors and/or their leaders.

We are still at war with these people, right? So let's stop bombing their empty smuggling tunnels and go back to assassinating their leaders until one of them is smart enough to capitulate to us.

(And then let's look for another pretext to get rid of him.)

I am sorry see Israel stooping to the inanities our American left-wingers and bleeding hearts use. My condolences to the brave Israelis who intend to defeat their enemies.
My condolences to the Israelis who think America is going to give one more damn about them if they mollycoddle prisoners as we Americans do.
Time to wake up, Israel.

If Gilad Shlit were alive they'd have let the Red Cross see him which they've not done, which seems mighty strange since they're so close buddies to and of them.
If he is indeed dead then the price for his release will never be enough as they don't want to admit that they've already killed him.

One of my favourites, I shall be recommending this for sure!

I'm going to put a link to your wonderful illustrations on my blog - http://ajewwithaview.blogspot.com

Palestinian prisoners in Israel are allowed visits from humanitarian groups. But Hamas has not allowed Gilad Shalit to be seen by any group. Is this just because they are the vile creatures that we know they are - or is it because Gilad is no longer alive, G-d forbid...?

What a terrible, terrible decision Israel must now make in terms of any prisoner exchange.

Shimshon makes good points about how to liberate Shalit; either by rescuing him via coordinated armed forces (ground, air and sea), or targeting every Arab terrorist leader, be he Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah and all of the so-called splinter groups, including their so-called "political leaders" until they get the message. But, be aware, we may lose Shalit in the process, whereupon we would hopefully let loose our full wrath.

But, at the same time, we cannot be insensitive to his family, even granted that their perspective and mindset would seem very narrow -- as if 'our son at any and all cost.'

I would hope that as they (the family) have met with Rav Ovadia or Torah giants, that the latter would explain to them the bounds and lines of pidyan sh'vuim as to what are the acceptable limits to which a Jewish nation can go in obtaining return of a Jewish prisoner so as to not to further injurious harm to
national security, national and defensive credibility, and to insure the security of the rest of the Jewish people, both Israelis and Jews worldwide.

They should let them their TVs. Punishing them is bad idea, because on the other side Shalit could be 'punished' too.

bytheway, bones...we've heard about the crimes IDF committed in last gaza massacre, even they admit it now... Wanna make a cartoon about them? I bet you don't dare.

Will Bebe tighten the screw on these fantics or will it be more of the same? I ask only because I don't know. Let me know what you think.

well anonymous, those "testimonies" were all based on hearsay and rumors; none of the soldiers who reported the abuse actually witnessed anything.

but we all know that fact checking and accuracy probably doesn't quite matter to you, does it?

ps. sending in a rescue team for 1 soldier is not a very good idea. it would only result in more deaths.
