Israeli Traffic Sign Cartoon (1975)

October 10, 1975
The Jerusalem Post recently did a piece to mark the Jan 1, 2013 anniversary of Dry Bones. (it will be the 40th). One of the cartoons they published seemed to be loved by one and all ...at least those who live here in the Jewish State. So I thought I'd repost this golden oldie from 1975 again!! The Israeli's are known for their aggressive driving habits but until I was there I could not appreciate it. How true is this cartoon. My favorite incident was waiting at a check point and in the lane beside us suddenly everyone of the men in 2 white cars piled out and started fist fighting! Right in front of the soldiers armed with automatic weapons. It was broken up by a single soldier, the others never left their posts.
I have yet to get my Israeli drivers license because driving in the US is so different, even NYC is easier and more fun,
But now that I understand these signs at long last my dear friend I will give it a try
Love this
K.
The signs are almost correct in a cynical(funny) way..
Congratulations and may you last another 40 years!
