I've come down with a heavy head cold. The LSW (Long Suffering Wife) has forced me to spend the day in bed. On the first day of this !@#$%!!? cold, I did a cartoon reference to Sandy (Arf Arf) Little Orphan Annie's dog, Now I've done this one for you. Another cartoon reference from my American childhood. Call me crazy, but without us being on the side of God in this topsy turvy world...I will take Sandy (or since I am in Texas...Tornadoes and other Hurricanes)over the nuts (Iran and Alquida) in yours!!
I can't help but wonder if HaShem isn't trying to send us a wakeup call. Our elected leadership has been working very hard to remove Him from our national life for the past 50 years of so; the "president's" party voted three times during their national convention to remove all reference to Him from the party platform; the "president" has effectively "declared war" on Jews and Christians while bowing to Islam; the "president" continues to provide arms to jihadists and financial aid to Hamas and the PLO; by keeping our embassy in Tell Aviv the US refuses to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's eternal capital; the "president" repeatedly humiliates Israel's leaders; the "president" insists that Israel stop building homes and communities for Israelis on Israeli soil and insists that Israel return to her indefensible pre-1967 borders. HaShem has said that He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. I personally take Him at His word.

If Hurricane Sandy affected the Dem's early voting patterns, Romney's landslide win can be directly attributed to an Act of God.
(Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself, but all the indicators show Romney winning).
Tuesday will prove if your wishful thinking is true, Dolev.
If Romney doesn't win in a landslide and get a Senate that will work with him....I think it is a final sign that Israel is on it's own...and needs to act that way...with only God to please it can be more mobile...

I am sure there are more forces at work here with military cooperation between Israel and America..No government is foolish enough to advertise everything that is planned..A lot of these plans are top secret and will come into action no matter who is president..
Personally, I am very unconcerned about who wins in the USA. Things will work out for us no matter how bad it looks. An attack on Iran would surely be kept secret until it is underway. I read somewhere that Britian is also moving warships in that direction. Maybe something will happen soon.
Just remember it was Republican Bush that was behind the pull out in Gaza.

To get back to the cartoon: I found it troubling. It probably accurately reflects the reaction of every civilian in war-torn Asia if they see an American drone overhead (i.e. "run for your life"). Lo alaynu, I wouldn't want my family to experience that.
Re HerbDocs comment: what American financial aid to Hamas? The US counts Hamas as a terror group! Aiding it is illegal in US law! What are you talking about?

Like it or not we are tied to the USA for money and military help..Maybe one day we can be independent..A lot of this negative talk is no more than that..Iron Dome would not be here if it was not for US money and help..Also the Arrow system..The US plans to implement the Iron Dome for battlefield defense..It works out for both of us..
