the Holidays (1980)
Today's Golden Oldie is a Dry Bones cartoon done 30 years in 1980. The Jewish New Year was approaching and locals were worried about the year that was about to unfold before us. I thought it would be funny to show Mr.Shuldig trying his best to cheer them up while showing that he shared their Jewish pessimism.30 years have gone by and I think that the scenario described by Mr.Shuldig in the cartoon is STILL a possibility. This year Rosh HaShana begins at sundown on September 8th 2010 ushering in a succession of holy days, holidays, and half-holidays which is simply called, in Israel, "the Holidays".So don't worry ...Have a Happy Holiday!
