UN Guide

UN anti Israel Bias, antisemitism : Dry Bones cartoon.
I am off on a speaking tour in the States until the end of October. I wrote, drew, and posted a set of cartoons in order to provide you with your daily Dry Bones "fix".

This is the last of those "Pre-Drawn" cartoons.
I'll be back in harness (G-willing) next week.
Love to you all!

Bones, as always, you are NOT on the mark. Gaza massacre was NOT self-defence. Period.

Of course it was self defence Anonymous. Tens of thousands of Arab kassams were fired from Azza on civilian Sderot over 8 years of criminal no response policy. What are you talking about?

Anonymous - LOL - And you 'know' this because........

Ariel, this Anonymous guy really believes the things written in the left-wing blogs. You have to feel sorry for him - in a way! I believe it was Lenin who called people like him 'useful idiots.'

hey, Chaya, there's no need for calling names. Op Cast Lead was not a self-defence, it was an agression (look at the causalties); only brainwashed or uneducated people would claim the opposite...

As for you, Ariel Ben, mabbe you should ask yourself why do Palestinian radical groups fire those rockets at israel... Perhaps not out of pure boredom, right? Hint: don't you think the israeli occupation and abusing of the Palestinians could play any role there? You'd probably say: "But Israel withdrew from Gaza and the rockets keep falling." See, that's because Israel didn't end the occupation of all palestinians. Gaza is not enough...not to mention that Gaza became the biggest prison in the world.

Believe what you want. You aren't anyone important. You won't even reveal your name. You don't know a thing. You get your 'information' from Arab and radical left-wing anti-Semitic sources. You are not someone I am interested in having a discussion with.

Chaya is right Anonymous, you don’t merit any answers. Nevertheless here you are, point by point, just to show you how generous Jews can be:

- Anonymous: hey, Chaya, there's no need for calling names.

- ABY: Oh sorry, Mr. Terrorist, Sir!

- Anonymous: Op Cast Lead was not a self-defence, it was an agression (look at the causalties);

- It was a defensive war forced upon us by hamas, to stop the kassams on the civil population of Sderot. The casualty figures were pumped up by hamas using human shields

- Anonymous: only brainwashed or uneducated people would claim the opposite...

- ABY: OK Mr. Terrorist Anonymous Sir, I 'am brainwashed and uneducated. Remember, you just said "no need for calling names"? I am also son of pigs and monkeys. Happy now, Sir Anonymous?

- Anonymous: As for you, Ariel Ben, mabbe you should ask yourself why do Palestinian radical groups fire those rockets at israel...

- ABY: Maybe I should ask myself. But I don't. I don't care, you see, why they are doing this. I just want them all drop dead.

- Anonymous: Perhaps not out of pure boredom, right? Hint: don't you think the israeli occupation and abusing of the Palestinians could play any role there?

- ABY: No, as a matter of fact I don't think so. I think these are all Jewish Lands given to my people by the G-d of Israel and that Arabs should be happy in Arabyah. I also know that Muslims killed Jews a lot before “the occupation” (of our own lands) and before the State of Israel was founded and even before that and even before before that.

- Anonymous: You'd probably say: "But Israel withdrew from Gaza and the rockets keep falling."

- ABY: Nono, that's what my idiotic government would say. I would just say: there is evil in the world and kill you all, not just a few here and a few there.

- Anonymous: See, that's because Israel didn't end the occupation of all palestinians. Gaza is not enough...not to mention that Gaza became the biggest prison in the world.

- ABY: I know Azza is not enough for you. You guys want all of Israel and all Jews dead wherever they are. Won’t work, Mr. Terrorist Sir. My G-d is stronger than your god. You'll lose, you see and those sons of pigs and monkeys of Jews will win. Sorry, game’s over.

Ariel, let the words of British Colonel Kemp say it most eloquently:

Believe what you want, Ariel & Chaya. You aren't anyone important, either. Just a word for you, Ariel: You obviously don't know what the word "Terrorist" actually mean (or you have an explanation why should I be called so? Because I called for the occupation to end?). Be aware that calling for the end of the occupation doesn't mean wanting "all of Israel and all Jews dead wherever they are". I know I won't change your mind, but you didn't convince me to change my opinions, either. So long.

This cartoon makes the analogy "Hamas is to Israel as Italy was to Ethiopia", which is absurd on the face of it. Hamas has nothing like the power of the Italian Fascist army, and the IDF is hardly the Ethiopian army of 1935-6. Nor did Ethiopian self-defense result in substantial civilian casualties on the Italian side -- or indeed, any at all.

It is one thing to fight an invading army in your own homeland (as Ethiopia did and as Hamas did during Operation Cast Lead); it's another to defend yourself by invading another territory and wreaking massive destruction there. Whether or not Operation Cast Lead was justified or proportional, the comparison to the Italian-Ethiopian war is out of place.

A source on the Italian-Ethiopian war: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Italo-Abyssinian_War
