Washington is now trying to micromanage Jerusalem and to dictate the policies and steps that Israel's elected government should take.President Obama's premise is both shortsighted and misguided. The outcome of his offensive and haughty bullying of the Jewish State will either be the weakening of America's only true ally in the Middle East or the driving of that ally to secretly build an alternative alliance with one of America's global competitors.Your comments?

I would sure like to know with which other country Israel would/could form a warmer alliance, than the U.S.
Unfortunately, the American people are being mostly left in the dark. The news here doesn't report the Obama administration's words or actions towards Israel in much depth, so Americans aren't hearing or seeing his arrogance demonstrated towards Israel.
We know arrogance goes before destruction and pride before a fall. May President Obama realize that Israel is not the problem and turn from the brainwashing he experienced in Rev. Wright's "church."
How beautiful is Israel and her people and her people being fruitful.

Government leaders come and go, but Am Israel chai.
Israel has a strong alliance with the United States and it will continue. The alliance is not with the Kenyan bastard (fact, not name calling) who his doing his best to destroy our nation and Israel as well. Never fear, Israel, the American people, Christians as well as Jews, will stand with you.
Israel must control its own destiny without the interference of this Musselman in a sheep's clothing.
As long as that inept bully/clown retains power, I would go with the second option.

"Secretly" is the important word here.
The question is, "Is Israel capable of this?"

When you take the time to read the total passage of 2 Kings 18-19 you can see how God blessed Israel inspite of the fact that both Egypt and Assyria were lined up against her. So in scriptures God gives Israel the EXACT model of how to defeat her many enemies even today.
Problem: Israel's leaders have not yet turned to God. It is my prayer that Israel will turn to HaShem before her enemies overrun the country. She has no friends BUT God has promised to rescue her from destruction. I pray that Israel will trust the Lord.
II Ki 18:5-8
5 Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him.6 He held fast to the LORD and did not cease to follow him; he kept the commands the LORD had given Moses.7 And the LORD was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook. Relax, relax.
Pres. Obama's polling numbers are falling like a stone. Besides ongoing problems with the economy he was supposed to heal with his mere presence in office, he has wildly overextended trying to implement too much of the Left's agenda all at once (including coming down on Israel). This will create a vicious cycle downwards as some or all of his legislative endeavors go down in flames.
So Obama is losing the political capital he needs to bully Israel effectively. But more importantly he just won't have the time to spare. He needs to spend every second he can to salvage the mess he has put himself in to survive politically. He won't even be able to use Israel as a distraction from his domestic woes -- Americans will resent any side-shows that are not related to the US enconomy right now.
So for now Israel should just do the right thing and patiently outwait this president as we have outwaited so many others.
America's only true ally in the Middle East
We have no true allies in the Middle East. A true ally wouldn't threaten to defect to our enemies on account of something as minor as a polite request to freeze settlements.

Obama is fulfilling prophecy. America has turned her back on God and turned into worse than S & G.
God's prophecies will be fulfilled. Israel will prevail, her leaders will turn to God once again and she will be saved as prophicied.
What happens to America ? Only He knows, but we the believers need to pray for unity and mercy from Him on us and our families.

Ok, so america is giving Israel a ton of help , but they make a request, and it's called "bullying" and they call Obama names, make fun of his heretige etc etc.
The problem here is your view on the world. You think you're surrounded by enemies and you want help conquering them and cant understand why you're not getting it.
America however see's a bunch of sqabbling children and just wants them to quit making so much noise. It see's one child is being unfairly picked upon by the others, but now that child is growing up and turning into the school yard bully and that can't be allowed either.
Yes the Middle Eastern Muslims are still doing the whole kill all jews thing, but they don't mean it. What they really mean is "Look over there , at our enemey afar. Not over here at our inability to feed our own people".

The only wise policy for Israel is creating a common Israeli-Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital (only on condition that all terrorists are eliminated first), and then the number of your allies and enemies will probably balance out.
