Iraqi Lost Cause?

Saddam's trial was supposed to be part of the birth of a new Iraqi democracy, now his execution will feel like just another Iraqi killing.
Did we drop the ball in Iraq? Is it hopeless?
Or have we been misled by Western media?

Should US forces withdraw from Baghdad to Iraq's borders to cut off the terrorists flowing into the country from Iran and Syria ?!

Does America have the will to fight a war? To confront its enemies on a battlefield? Or is it in fact all over for America and Western civilization?

Is Iraq a "Lost Cause"?
