Israel Day Parade in NY- Am Yisrael Hai
Today, Sunday, Is the big Israel Day Parade in New York. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding it this year. To be expected, I guess. Yaakov was very proud to have been a marshall at the parade in the very late 70s or early 80s. I forget exactly which year. I so hope that things remain peaceful and there are no problems or injuries. But I am worried, as it seems that there is a lot of bad news coming from everywhere these days. I have been very tempted to stop watching the news for a bit. But that will probably not happen. But I need some cheering up.
Stay optimistic! Much love, Am Israel Hai, from Sali
