Happy Purim tonight! Raining Missiles
Wishing you a Happy Purim! Purim starts tonight (Sunday) and we are fighting Persia (Iran) again. Here is a Dry Bones cartoon from 2013 by Yaakov Kirschen. Enjoy!
It is indeed significant that we, in Israel are now dealing with a rain of missiles from Iran during Purim.
I slept in my shelter room last night as the sirens were blasting missile warnings every 10 to 30 minutes for a while. It was actually pretty comfortable as my shelter is also my art studio room. I have a small, thin mattress that is actually good for my back, and the floor is covered with cardboard to protect it from my paints, but it is also great insulation from the cold stone floors that we have here in Israel. I was woken up by each siren and the app on my phone, but I didn't have to actually get up and change rooms, or go down to a basement or stairwell shelter, or out to a big public one like many people. I am very blessed. I have seen on Israel TV lots of interviews with people using the new underground lite rail stations in Tel Aviv as comfortable shelters. We are strong and resilient.
Happy Purim!
Wishes for health and happiness and prosperity and peace to all.
