Dangerous Divisions in Israeli Politics

 This is a Dry Bones cartoon from 2023, but from before the Oct.7th attack, posted by Sali, the LSW. I just came upon it, and thought how relevant that it was and is.

We are hearing lots of news in Israel today about how all of the military and all of the politicians believed that Gaza was stable and not going to attack just before October 7th. All except some female soldiers posted near the Gaza border, but no one would listen to them. Now we are again seeing big divisions in our country. Sort of frightening how perseptive this cartoon was back then. Of course, we now know that the Oct. 7th attack had been planned for many years before it happened, but the timing maybe had a lot to do with the internal scene in Israel. I pray for our future to be bright and safe, and a Shabbat Shalom to all.
