 Dry Bones Golden Oldies by Sali, the LSW. This classic cartoon is from 1977. It was a full page in the Jerusalem Post. As there is now controversial talk about Israel passing legislation annexing Judea and Sameria, I thought this cartoon would be interesting.

Prime Minister Begin asked Yaakov for the original and gave it to President Jimmy Carter during a visit to Washington, and Carter wrote a note on a copy of it and sent the signed copy back to Kirschen, (see the right hand center for the hand written note).

By the way, the controversial bill needs to pass 2 more times before becoming law, so that is very unlikely to happen.

Also, I have the cartoon with Carter's original signature. I don't know what it is worth, but would be willing to sell it.
