I wish that Yaakov were here to give his wisdom. Here is a classic golden oldie that is a favorite of mine. Hoping that the peace will last, but still we have the Gaza problem.

Sink the Sinai

This cartoon was from back in 1975.

Back in 1982 when Israel gave the Sinai back to Egypt, we were friends with an American official who was part of the negotiating team, and he told us that Israel tried to make Egypt take Gaza as part of the deal, and Egypt refused. They well knew what Gaza was like. So Israel got stuck with it. Let's hope that the situation in Gaza will be better soon, and that all of our hostages will come home and that we will lose no more soldiers there.

I finally had a nights sleep last night without sirens. But I woke up every 3 hours, maybe out of habit. I hope that this fragile ceasefire holds. We will probably still have missiles and drones from the Houthis, and from Gaza and Hezbollah, but those are not the level of danger as the giant ballistic missiles from Iran.
