Nahum Sokolov
Latest in the Zionist series: Nahum Sokolov (1861-1936). The father of Hebrew journalism. He translated Herzl's "Altneuland" into Hebrew, rendering the German "Altneuland" (Old New Land) in Hebrew as "Tel Aviv" (Ancient Hill of Springtime).
