Fertilizer Bomb (1995)
Today's Golden Odie cartoon is from 1995.The sixteen year-old cartoon was about the terrible Oklahoma City Bombing in which Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people and injured more than 680 others by setting off a fertilizer bomb in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Building. I posted the cartoon today because of the terrible bombing in Oslo that is in the News.According to reports out of Norway:

Fertilizer huh! They should have enough of that on Capitol Hill to really blow up the place. From the sounds of things.
There is no limit to reactive steps.
The next time someone stabs someone, do we put control on knives? or uses a vehicle to run into a crowd do we put (more - shudder!!!) control over motor vehicles.
I can see control of fertilizer pushing up food prices.
The Oslo massacre, terrible as it is, seems to be an occurrence of a lone nut case who misinterpreted some religious Christian ranting.
Compare this with the Islamic religious ranting, which is quite specific, wide spread and followed to the T by millions, and the results are infinitely more people dead and wounded, worldwide, than in Oslo.
Maybe the "authorities" need to focus their efforts elsewhere, instead of on regulating fertilizer??

Like the Hebrew & Aramaic Bibles, Nothing in the Greek Bibles commands anyone to do anything with a heart to anger, let alone violence, let alone act it out.
This country needs the virtue/Arete education that Aristotle advocated, that the Bible teaches.
This is what happens in a country that abandons her Judeo-Christian values.
We don't teach kids in school what is right & wrong; instead it has been decided by some that it is better to be lazy about this problem & let the government treat us like immature kids who need more & more controls.
How about education? Real, Biblical, God-fearing education? Teach one to love one another? When I went to school with such a value in my heart, I got hell from my class mates & I was abnormal.
How lost is this world without God.
When will oppressive governments, and the zombies who support them, realize that regulating things is never going to regulate the evil hatred that lives within the hearts of the sons of Cain? Only HaShem can change the heart. But maybe we could regulate over-zealous law-makers??
Read where Glenn Beck is calling the victums of this the "Hitler Youth". Strange person.

I think it says, "Turn the other cheek.", Not, "take the other clip." If the light that is in you, be darkness, how great is that darkness...We are seeing how great.
I'm inclined to control the availability of other components, e.g. the diesel fuel or pyrophorics, which BATF slipped at OKC and then tried to cover up in their litter box, like hints of McVeigh having some Mohammedan assistance as some "useful fools" have needed.
On one side, Beck might be right about a HJ aspect of a political camp in a nordic secularist country and I'd not put it past Breivivk to be a useful fool, like Roehm.
Santayana anyone?
