Nightmare Scenario
It's one AM. Earlier, I saw a newscast of Gaddafi's insane ramblings about how Al Queda is behind the Libyan rebellion. Just before I trudged off to bed, I sketched this cartoon about what if Whacko Gaddafi were telling the truth and nobody believes him. I showed it to the LSW (Long Suffering Wife). She loved the cartoon. Which is why it is now one AM in the morning, she's asleep in bed, and I'm posting this cartoon instead of the one that was already done. So what do you think of the cartoon?

It's true. Of course, it's not like that Flea bag is in Libya - though maybe Qaddafi had him in his closet, and it got all bad.

One day, you go to sleep, realizing the persecution of your Aramaic speaking, native ethnicity is going downhill - the next day you wake realizing just how uphill that downhill was compared to today.
We thought Qaddafi was bad - and he is, killing his people, but worse is to come of course. Heck, we better start appreciating that dog in Saudi Arabia.
What a world. When Gadaffi starts looking like an acceptable maniac,and Mubarak GOOD Israeli basher, and the west seeing Saudi Arabia's King as an Arab moshiach and Yaakov able to draw a cartoon in the wee morning hours and show it to his LSW who must have then had nightmares, what more can we now do for a Purim Shpiel?
G-d works in strange ways. What would our Jews do in todays maniacal world if we had not had thousands of years adjusting to the torments of Pharoah,Haman. Hitler, Stalin,etc. etc.?
We'll get through this madness also.

Well--2012 is almost upon us, and the world AS WE KNOW IT may well come to an end. What with the happenings in the Middle East, Europe and especially Germany going Islamic and Hussein the president of the U.S. We are almost there.....
BUT - as I understand it, the kabala says that we will be under their thrall for only 42 months, then the world will rise up and send SatanALLA back to her hiding place on the moon.

Nothing surprises those of us living in this crazy neighborhood. The problem is that your 'Nightmare Scenario" may not be a NIGHTMARE but reality. Democracy in this part of the woods? With the exception of our tiny country, to expect true democracy in our backyard sounds more like the naive wishful thinking of the US and Western Europe.

Noone believed Hitler when he spelled out his programme in writing. As a German I take messages like this extremely serious. However, what we are going to face this time will be more than what the world has seen before. The Bible again warns us. And as believer I know that we are not just muddling our way out of this "as before". The answer is EXCLUSIVELY a turning back to God.
Can this be a sign of things to come?? Gaddafi blaming other Moslems and NOT Israel? Hard to believe. And it's not even Hanukah (nes gadol...)

With all due respect, HOW CAN YOU BE SO BLIND? Hosni Mubarak has been pretty moderate...we haven't heard Jack from Khadafi in years and Israel has been enjoying peace and quiet...don't you get it? They're getting rid of the people who have been letting us all have peace and quiet...they WANT more virulent, anti-Israel people in power and they're tossing out the people who've been leaving you ALONE!
I know in the past THEY were the virulent ones, but I'm just speaking in terms of the last few years as they've aged, vs what I think Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood want now is to stir what has been a relatively quiet pot and it's working!

It does make a conundrum. Mubarak was a bastard but he is our bastard or at least close to it. Gaddafi was an even bigger bastard and definitely not our bastard.

I thought Qaddhafi was moaning about the Zionists being after him, the ones at Al-Jazeera.
It's conceivable for Al-Qaida to be cheering for the Libyan rebels. Al-Qaida was formed to fight the Arab monarchs and dictators in order to bring about a new Caliphate. They started in on us because the local dictators were too tough for them at the time. A return to pure Islam, Al-Qaida says, will solve all the problems the Arabs have been having with modern world, dontcherknow. Then they can go on to conquer all the rest of us. I won't go into what a loony idea this is, except to note that Muslim governments can hardly keep together the states they now rule, constantly beset by separatist and factional revolts. There is no way a continental Islamic state could do anything except collapse into a gigantic Somalia.
If Al-Qaida actually did take over a country, as they did Afghanistan (the Taliban depended on them to prop up their rule), especially one with a seacoast, the US will be all over them like white on rice. If the USMC can make an amphibious invasion of a country without a seacoast, as they did in Afghanistan, then Libya should be a piece of cake for them. And next time the ROE will be, how shall I say, more relaxed. That would be the ROE we used against the Germans in WWII, I think.
Wow, yeah, and that isn't even the "worst -case-scenario", yet.
Unfortunately, once again the Rome Ghetto's saying: "It's like choosing between cough and phlegm" seems to be true when it comes to Moslem countries political changes...
This reminds me of Martha Mitchell wife of John Mitchell, United States Attorney General under President Richard Nixon. She often "rambled on" about the fantastic things happening in Washington. Some of the things turned out to be true---Watergate.

Maybe Gadaffi really is Osama Bin Ladin and that is why he has not been found after all these years.
