It looks like 1979 Iran revisited. Your last 3 toons were on the mark. I am a Christian Zionist and occasionally re-post your work. If that is improper, I will stop. You can visit my blog at www.ElishaVision.wordpress.com Todah rabah!
The difference is that President Obama is not Bush. He's not a cowboy and has the common sense to know Egypt is not going to adapt an American-style democracy like Bush tried to force down the Iraqi's throat. I think Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be more pragmatic.
Now only if we can get them to be more friendly to Israel, it will be a better situation!!
The west’s reaction to this crisis shows how moral confusion has rotted its collective brain. When the people of Lebanon made their genuine pitch for democracy, which would have helped in the defence of the free world, the west was totally indifferent. When the people of Iran made their genuine pitch for democracy, which would have helped in the defence of the free world, the west was totally indifferent. But when the Egyptians look like they may be about to repeat the pattern of the 1979 Iranian revolution and bring about another Islamic theocracy which would further threaten the free world, the west cheers them on.
G-d grant common sense and wisdom to all leaders in the western world. Especially to the US government... It is worth repeating..."IF AMERICA IS TO REMAIN THE LAND OF THE FREE, THEY MUST ALSO BE THE LAND OF THE BRAVE"
If ever the leader of the USA must readjust his thinking, now is the time.
Obama hates Israel and wants to see her destroyed. That's why he bends over backwards to support every anti-Israel group that exists. It's also why he's cut off military support.
The only reason he hasn't openly attacked is that he has (so far) been successful at conning large segments of the US Jewish population into voting for him and he doesn't want to lose their votes in 2012.
But now he doesn't have to directly attack Israel. He can just refuse to help Egypt, let it fall to the terrorists, and they'll attack Israel with their (US-supplied) weapons. And when they do, he can sit back and give speeches pledging support for Israel while he does nothing to actually help.
I hope I'm wrong about this, but my gut says I'm right.
What does G-d think? Psalms 2 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall He speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. Psalms 2:1-5 KJV
Remember David and Goliath? Goliath was unstoppable. Problem was, David BELIEVED in HIS G-d!!!
You might ask me if ->I<- believe all these fairy-tales. YOU BETCHA! MY G-d IS G-d!!!!! Shalom.
I started Dry Bones in Jan 1973. Since then I've been known as "Bones" to friends and colleagues. This is the first time I've ever shared the "stories behind the cartoons." Enjoy. more

No matter how things end, I know it won't be good for Israel and the West.
Don't be surprised if the Muslim Brotherhood gets into power through all of this.
Sadly, uprisings of Muslims in Muslim countries never bring about governments that show favour towards the West.

Obama will do as he always does - talk, talk, talk,...and the Islamists will take over while he continues to talk, talk, talk,....
We in the USA have been assured that the rioters are non-religious. Whew! I was worried for a few days there.

I think that the events in Egypt are more like the Russian Revolution than the Iranian Revolution.
Abraham Lincoln was the rail splitter-Barack Obama is the fence sitter...:-) Great cartoon Bones !
Too right - the Muslim Brotherhood is sitting back and laughing while ordinary Egyptians do the hard stuff for them!
Anybody read Psalm 83 lately?
What does G-d think?
Psalms 2
