Pogroms

BDS boycott antisemitism pogrom : Dry Bones cartoon.
Pogroms were wild outbreaks of marauding lynch mobs driven by the fever of viral antisemitism. The Nazis, on the other hand, had better PR and began with boycotts.

BDS Boycott - Now

I'm planning a U.S./Canada speaking tour for May 2011. The goal will be to do something about the delegitimization problem. What can one Jewish joke-telling cartoonist do? Stay tuned for further information.

As if they were actually interested in "Palestinian Human Rights"! HA! Notice they aren't saying a THING about Lebanon (for egregious instance), who actually treats them the way they falsely accuse Israel of doing...?

Bones, How ironic that you are able to depict eras in history by just changing the faces in a cartoon. Has the world learned anything? More important have the Jewish people learned anything?
Keep bringing the past and present to us.It helps to awaken us even though it is in cartoon form.

Jews are despised; mainly because most of the world is Godless, and hates any connection to God whatsoever; the patriarches, prophets, apostles, seers, disciples, Messiah Jesus, The Church[body of believers, not the RCC]all came from the God of Israel, who has an everlasting covenant with them; and he will keep it and them.

To anonymous,
I believe at least your last sentence is agreeable to most every Jew who is was or will be.
THE G-d OF ISRAEL HAS AN EVERLASTING COVENENTWITH ISRAEL AND WILL KEEP IT.
The day will come when Bone's cartoon reality will be outdated and unecessary. In the meantime we will do what is necessary to help bring it about. Thank you and others like you for your help.

This is genius. In fact, this particular cartoon should be used in cartoon school as a demonstration of the art at its best.

How about a worldwide campaign of protests about the treatment of the Jewish communities in Egypt, Jordan, Syria, etc.? The obvious reaction will be that there aren't any Jewish communities in those countries. Who knows, it might cause a few of the bleeding hearts to think about their anti-Israel rhetoric.

Also, why not start a campaign to point out that Israel has a million Arabs who are citizens, with complete access to education and medical care and freedom to practice their religion.

It is true that the world is Godless and this is causing Israel problems right now. But never forgert Exodus 14 - God brought Israel into that difficult situation [verse 1,2] and that was His plan to bring glory to G-D [verses 3,4]. G-D is given glory in how HE saves his children from pharoah and from satan.
G-D bless Isreal and the IDF

Mah nishtano ha yom hazeh?

Nothing has changed since the day Esau was born. There is nothing that can be done that will not boomerang to us. Hate begets hate. The good we do is ignored. This morning, I watched a U.S. soldier make one Arab good. He was planting IEDs. Our troop made the Arab good by inserting one bullet into his body.

I know we're not supposed to rejoice in the misfortune of our enemies; I feel no guilt about rejoicing over the death of a dealer of death.

My ANGER burns in my body; that one troop saved the lives of only Hashem knows.

Mr. Bones, you're like the zayde I've never had, you know that? But I'll have to disagree with you on one minor point. Boycotts have ALWAYS been an essential part of pogroms. It goes all the way back to Moorish Spain and the Pogrom of Al-Andaluz (Andalusia.) Not to mention, there was always good PR behind the pogroms. What do you call the Protocols?

Thanks, as always, for the cartoons. You're telling the world what what needs to be told and no one can do that better than a cartoonist.

Dear Dry Bones: On your upcoming speaking tour, I feel that you will succeed where others have failed - your pictures are worth MORE than a thousand words!!! This just goes to remind us the power of political cartoons… and how well you master this art.

God bless the minds and hearts of all those whom you touch.
