Purim

Purim is a three-day carnival-like festival in Israel celebrating our deliverance from planned mass extermination by the Persians (now called the Iranians). It starts on Sunday, but I already saw some Tel Avivis in costume yesterday!

No cartoon on Monday. Next cartoon on Tuesday, March 2.

those are not real Persians in what is now called Iran. The Persians who tried to wipe us off the map were themselves wiped out. There are no Egyptians left in Egypt either, they've been replaced by Arabs. The same goes for the Syrian Greeks. And when did you see anyone in Rome who could possibly be a "ROMAN" soldier. Europe, and particularily Germany is being replaced by middle easterners. All those who have tried to wipe us out, are gone,,, we remain,,,

At 1:28 PM, Nechama said...: and I've seen Yerushalmis in costume all week long -- neighborhood carnivals last Monday and Tuesday, a masked wedding ball last night and in general riding the bus, walking the streets and even in shul last Shabbat!
