Bombing Argentinian Jews (1994)
Today's Golden Oldie is a Dry Bones cartoon done 15 years ago in 1994. The cartoon was done after the horrific bombing that obliterated the seven-storey Jewish Community Center building in Argentina, killing 85 and injuring more than 300.Ahmad Vahidi, who led a unit of Iran's Revolutionary Guards known as the Quds Force was the "mastermind" behind the brutal, antisemitic, terrorist attack. Interpol issued a wanted persons alert for him in 2007. To see the Interpol "wanted" poster for Ahmad Vahidi, click on Interpol. Want to know where this wanted terrorist is today? He is not in hiding. He is the Secretary of Defence in Ahmadinejad's Iranian Government. When he got the job, earlier this year, a spokesman for Obama's State Department described Vahidi's nomination as "disturbing".

That's interesting, because I would label Barak Hussein Obama's appointment as President of the United States as "Disappointing" also.
This is not about Obama. This is about a cover up in Argentina and an increasingly anti Israel Iran.
Bond-strengthening and solidarity only count when Israel is under attack, as it was in 1967 or in 1973.
Jews and yordim flock to Israel for a month or two and then go back to their homes abroad.
Today, given the existential threat from Iran, Israel cannot be helped much by Diaspora Jews. Israel will sadly yet again be a light unto the nations, and once again she will prevail, but what will be the human casualties on both sides?
A Happy and Healthy New Year to all the readers of this blog and especially to Yaakov 'Bones'!
merry xmas
Terror victims stay dead, but the terrorists live on. What a world!
To 'Rabbi Shalom'
If you're a rabbi, I'm a bishop.
We need your comments like a fish needs a bicycle.
I visit Argentina once or twice each year. Those of my acquaintance were just as horrified about the bombing as we. As Jews we are more than welcome. My favorite "Estrella de David" was made for me by an Italian jeweler, Tito Testone,
in San Carlos de Bariloche. I am mystified about the comment regarding Rabbi Shalom?
@ Joel
Hmm, I can't believe on that.
