Season's Greetings

It used to be that the NY Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, with its fabulous, gigantic balloons floating above the crowds, ushered in the Christmas Season. These days it seems that it is the start of an exercise in examining sales figures. checking to see how the U.S. Economy is doing. I must say that in spite of all the talk about America having come out of its "recession", I have serious doubts.

We now have our "Hitler", the great orator, who promises great prosperity for all who follow his vision. Sooo many parallels to Hitler's rise to power, yet we ignore the signs, even when lit in neon. The state run media is of one mind, poisoning even the most learned with propaganda. Marxists hold most major White House advisory positions; big business gets lots of taxpayer money - and government control to go with; the engine of growth and innovation - small business - is relegated to scrounging for table scraps, with no credit, greater costs through government mandated programs and the associated increased tax burden, which fuels more unemployment..... and an unemployment rate over 20% - yes, "only" 10.2% still getting unemployment benefits, but at least twice that number have expired benefits and no jobs.
The US is following in the footsteps of Great Britain, going from a world class superpower to a shell of it's former stature, and in record time.
And the US Jewish population voted overwhelmingly for this poser; this Muslim-in-sheep's-clothing. Don't expect much support for Israel if the Arab world decides they want Israel eradicated. This President has stated he will stand with the Muslim world.
Yes, but the really sad part is he's surrounded by Jews. Then again that's what started the Russian Revolution!
I don't think about your doubt ...but the parade is lovely..
