Yale Intimidated

Yale Surrenders to Threat of Islamist Violence : Dry Bones cartoon.
1. Yale University Press announced that they are censoring a book that they are about to publish. And they said that they had been coerced into taking this action because of having been intimidated by fear and threats of violence.

2. The Department of Defense Dictionary of Military Terms defines terrorism as:

"The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological."

3. According to that definition, Yale and other American Universities are victims of terrorism. They are being intimidated by the threat of violence. They are being coerced into aiding in the pursuit of the political, religious, and ideological goals of Islamists.

4. When will the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI take action?

Idea: If Yale is afraid to publish the Danish cartoons (in a scholarly work about the Danish cartoons) why don't they put the cartoons up on a website and print the web address in the book?

If you haven't seen the 12 innocuous Danish cartoons click here.

If you haven't seen my previous posting about Yale, click on "Dry Bones at Yale?".

Just because Yale is intimidated does not mean there has to be an "intimidator". Perhaps the Yale press should hire a PTSD expert to restore its equilibrium.

The definition is correct and that is why we Jews have to stand up against Haredi terror!

"12 innocuous Danish cartoons"
They weren't innocuous: in point of fact they were meant to provoke. They succeeded...all too well.
The problem is that the response was not reflection and dialogue, it was murder, violence, and blackmail.

How does an institution of knowledge and thought engage in a discourse that literally puts it in physical danger? Standing-up for ideals is easier said than done when the stakes are (literally) life and death.

If my understanding of Islam is correct they want every institution and country in the world to cow tow to their every whelm and be submissive ,so it is not surprising that Yale should be intimidated.

When will Homeland Security and the SD take action? Probably not until Obama's done, they seem re-tasked with painting brown shirts on the Reich's enemies...

sorry to say, don't bet on the US covering Israel's back, OTOH use the motto on US coinage, "In G*d We Trust"

And that IS JHVH, not allah

All of these so called "Ivy League"
are harbors of political correctness. Their founders would be shocked by the lack of courage Yale is showing.

Christians can be attacked and mocked; Jews can be attacked and mocked; but don't extend the same treatment to the most vile and reprehensible of all religions, the religion of hate, the Muslims.

Perhaps a Jew needs to kill a cartoonist that depicts Jews in a humorous manner to garner the same treatment.

A 17 year old girl living with her islamic parents decided to convert to Christianity recently. She ran away from home because she was afraid that she would be honor murdered by her parents, her siblings, her neighbors, her friends or the ilamicfascist community in which she lived. Her life is now one of fear and humiliation. AND THIS IS TAKING PLACE IN THE GOOD OLD U.S.A.

ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE,EH?

How much of Yales decision was intimidation, and how much of it was hoping that the big money donators from Saudi Arabia will remember that they behaved like good little dhimmis and reward the school with a few million in contributions? Bribes can be as effective as implied threats in coercion after all.
