Bernie is paying the piper, so to speak. And well deserved. But what the Kenyan and his left wing hacks are doing to this nation makes the Madoff Ponzi scheme a petty crime.
What price will "they" pay. Nothing, we and our grandchildren will bear the burden.
The mental giant who did not want to "meddle" in Iran, but was eager to tell Israel what they had to do.

Ol' Bernie gets the last laugh; he has room and board, medical, dental, exercise equipment, and access to a library -- all paid for by the screwed-over taxpayers. He should live so long? Not on our dime! Strip him of his goods and drop him on the street; he is no valid danger to society, and the shame and ostracization will punish him more than sitting in a cell ever would.
You say "Bernie should live so long", isn't it us that should live so long as to make back some of what he stole?

Bravo, Yaakov. THAT is Yiddish humor. Like life itself, Yiddish humor is filled with Irony. The little guy looking at a Rothchild mausoleum: "You see my friend, THAT'S what I call living!" Or in an argument with a Gentile, "Listen, my friend, when your ancestors were still living in caves we had already developed peptic ulcers."
Fine sort of humour, indeed. I like reading the comments here, because many writers use yiddish expressions which are often comprehensible for a german mother-tongue speaker. @Bill: What is a Shvartzer feinshmeker? Feinschmecker means a gourmet, but i guess there is a story behind this expression. Thanks to anybody, who tells me :-) peace

Some of the victim's accounts are astounding in that, supposely wealthy thus knowlegeable investors, they put most if not all of their eggs in one basket.
It's jerks like Madoff that help give Jews a bad name.

I'm sick and tired of all this Bernie bashing. I'm not saying that he is not a crook. He is. But Bernie bashing is not about Bernie Madoff. It's about Jews. Let's not forget that our halacha prohibits us to extradite and Madoff was processed by a legal system alien to Judaism and he was convicted by a goy court. Let's also not forget that prison terms are not a Jewish form of punishment. Crooks we convict for restitution of the damage with a surcharge. Idol worshippers we stone to death. Let us also not forget that Mr. President Hussein Obama's stimulus package, as well as all public spending operations technically are the exact same thing as the Ponzi scheme: new investors pay out old investors or, tax payers bail out tax consumers. So, before you Jew get so angry, please go and learn your Torah. Be more Jewish and maybe less - American?
