The pullout of Israeli forces from Gaza just before Obama's inauguration has been a subject of analysis and heated discussion in Israel ...meanwhile, I decided to guess at how history might judge what just happened here at the start of 2009.

So do you agree with Mr. History's simplistic assessment?
