Olympic Crackdown (1988)
Yup. Twenty years ago this month the story was the police crackdown on violent anti-government dissident street protests that threatened the peaceful pageantry and image-building opportunity of the Olympic games. But back then the club-swinging cops were South Korean, not Communist Chinese ...and because back then we didn't feel that the world was on the brink of rising South Korean dominance of the international scene, I was content with doing a cartoon based on a silly, groan-producing pun!
