Dumb and Dumber

According to the Brit newspaper the Sunday Express:

"Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in connection with the terrorism crisis.

The Prime Minister has also instructed his team – including new Home Secretary Jacqui Smith – that the phrase “war on terror” is to be dropped.

The shake-up is part of a fresh attempt to improve community relations and avoid offending Muslims, adopting a more “consensual” tone than existed under Tony Blair."-More

An MD friend told me about an occasion when he had to inform a patient's family that their loved one was going to die. "Is it cancer?" the wife had whispered. "No," he said, "it's not cancer." The West seems to be experiencing a similar state of fear and hysteria. We can't even name the enemy that threatens us. Islamists? Islamofascists? Muslim extremists? Jihadis? Wahabis? Islam? Nu? Maybe we should vote?
