China and U.S. Elections (1976)

In 1976 Chairman Mao died and the Cultural Revolution ended with the official denunciation and trial of the Gang of Four.

The drab uniformed cadres of slogan-chanting Communist students would, thirty years later would be replaced with product-hungry Chinese consumers.

But, incredibly, the Communist Party still remains in total control.

And the big question is ...What comes next?
