Royal Screw-Up

An Israeli President doesn't have his finger on the bomb. He can't send in the troops, or pull them out either. His job is to bring honor to the country and to express its highest ideals.

So our current president is being accused by 10 women of sexual misconduct. And it's turning into a big International story.

The story is all over our media and a popular source of chit chat at parties.
Some people say that the media and politicians who criticize President Katsav are exhibiting shameless behavior!

I asked a Tel Aviv cab driver what he thought and his proud response was "The President is a Real Man!"

I was going to write about that piggish Israeli cabbie but then the news came in! Rusian President Putin was meeting with Israeli PM Olmert about the Iranian threat.

"As the leaders prepared to leave, journalist Andrei Kolesnikov told the BBC he heard Putin say 'greetings to your president. What a mighty man he turns out to be!
