Kurt Waldheim, Nazi (1986)

Twenty years ago this month, in May 1986, a Nazi ran for President of Austria.

Here are a few interesting facts about it:
1) He'd already been Secretary General of the UN
2) He denied being a Nazi Stormtrooper Officer until a photo turned up.
3) He won the election and became President of Austria
