Chag Sameach, First candle of Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah! Dry Bones Golden Oldie, by Sali the LSW. (Long Suffering Wife). Here is a Dry Bones cartoon from 2015. The first candle of Chaukkah is tonight, Sunday, Dec 14. Regarding spelling: It is very confusing that Chag (Hag) and Hannukah ( Chanukkah) are spelled so many different ways. It is because they are Hebrew words transliterated into English. So it is sometimes Ch and sometimes H, and sometimes double n, and sometimes double k, and sometimes a becomes ah.
We Jews are a complicated people. Yaakov did a cartoon about the different spellings. I will try to find it to post this week. But however we spell it, the meaning is the same. Happy Holiday, may it bring the promise of a good year ahead full of light and laughter. May the light continue for many more years!

Shabbat Shalom, Blessings to you and your families and loved ones.

Please donate to Dry Bones in order to help me, the LSW, to keep up the expenses of the Blog and the postings, and pay the rent.
