Honoring Yaakov Kirschen at Cinematheque Tel Aviv
Dry Bones Golden Oldies in the fond memory of Yaakov Kirschen (Dry Bones).
The Israeli Cartoonists association honored Yaakov this past week with an exhibit of his cartoons at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque and had a ceremony there on Friday morning. I said a few words also.
They showed about 25 of his cartoons, plus a few cartoons that Israeli cartoonists did in tribute when he passed away.
Here is one of the cartoons that was done for an Israeli audience many years ago as a Friday page in the Jerusalem Post and was part of the exhibit.
and here are some photos from the Event and the exhibition. So sorry, I have not yet learned how to use Yaakov's Photoshop yet, so I was not able to brighten up the photos from my camera. That is me with the microphone.
Wishing everyone a good week. Much love and wishes for peace and for all of our hostages to be released NOW and for our soldiers to be safe.
Blessings to you all and your family and loved ones, peace, health, happiness and freedom.
